Empanelment of Contractors for Various interior furnishing projects to be carried out in premises of NISM

Applications are invited in the prescribed format for empanelment of contractors for various interior furnishing projects to be carried out in premises of NISM all over India (in Mumbai, Navi Mumbai and Chennai immediately). The estimated cost of projects will be ranging from Rs. 60 Lakh to 1.40 Crore for each of the project. The empanelment will be valid till September 30, 2013 and the empanelled contractors will be eligible to quote for various upcoming projects of NISM all over India.

The contractors who have already submitted their application form in response to the earlier advertisement of NISM published during June 2009 will be considered for empanelment based on the submissions made by them. In case, they wish to submit further information or fresh application, they may do so.

The contractor fulfilling following criteria may apply for the value of projects, each project ranging from Rs. 60 Lakh to Rs. 100 Lakh:

1. The contractor should have satisfactorily completed atleast any of the following projects:


2. 1. One similar project costing not less than Rs. 64 Lakh.

   OR

   2. Two similar projects each costing not less than Rs. 40 Lakh.

   OR

   3. Three similar projects each costing not less than Rs. 32 Lakh.
   
   

   Preferably for Central Government / State Government / Public Sector Undertaking / Autonomous Body during the last 7 years. (The period of 7 years for the purpose of having completed similar projects shall be from 01.08.2003 to 31.07.2010.)

3. The annual average turnover of the contractor should not be less than Rs. 40 Lakh during the last 3 years.

The contractor fulfilling following criteria may apply for the value of projects, each project ranging from more than Rs. 100 Lakh to Rs. 140 Lakh:

1. The contractor should have satisfactorily completed atleast any of the following projects:
   1. One similar project costing not less than Rs. 96 Lakh.

   OR

   2. Two similar projects each costing not less than Rs. 60 Lakh.

   OR

   3. Three similar projects each costing not less than Rs. 48 Lakh.



Preferably for Central Government / State Government / Public Sector Undertaking / Autonomous Body during the last 7 years. (The period of 7 years for the purpose of having completed similar projects shall be from 01.08.2003 to 31.07.2010.)

2. The annual average turnover of the contractor should not be less than Rs. 60 Lakh during the last 3 years.
3. The contractor applying for this category will also be eligible for empanelment for projects of lesser value than Rs. 100 Lakh.

1. Joints ventures are not accepted.
2. Similar project means interior furnishing project for office and other commercial premises.
3. For the purpose, “Cost of project” shall mean gross value of completed project including the cost of materials supplied by the Government / Client, but excluding those supplied free of cost.
4. Project executed for any private body will be considered only if the applicant submits the tax deduction at source certificate.
5. NISM reserves the right to inspect the project carried out by the contractor to satisfy itself regarding quality, finishes, workmanship and competence of the contractor to execute similar projects before considering any contractor for empanelment. The project executed by the contractor, that fulfill the criteria stipulated above, shall only be inspected and the empanelment of the contractor will depend upon the overall quality, workmanship, finishing of the project inspected, competence of the contractor to take up the similar projects.
6. No other tender notice will be published in the press for the projects referred above and issue of tender document will be restricted among the empanelled contractors found suitable for the similar projects.
7. NISM reserves the right to reject any or all the applications without assigning any reason thereof. NISM also reserves the right to restrict number of empanelled contractors for tendering at its sole discretion. The decision of NISM regarding the empanelment of contractors shall be final and binding on all concerned.
8. Applications not received in the prescribed manner will be summarily rejected.
