About the Contest

The Nation-wide Financial Markets Quiz & Essay writing contest is a step towards assessing and improving the financial literacy of the country. This is a unique National level test, conducted by Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), under the auspices of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav. Through these contests SEBI aims to make citizens aware of financial markets.

What’s in it for participants?

Quiz

• Top 3 National winning teams will get 1 lakh, 80k and 60k each.
• All India top 100 students will get cash rewards and a chance to visit Mumbai and attend a grand ceremony at our cost.
• Total Prize Pool of 35 Lakhs
• Participation certificates for all the participants.
• Principals of Top 50 colleges can accompany participating students and win rewards along with shield.
• Top 5 colleges with highest participation will win cash prize of 25000 each and their principals will be invited as a guest in the final ceremony to be held in Mumbai.

Essay

• Winners from each language will be awarded Rs 25,000 each.
• Chance to visit Mumbai and attend grand ceremony at our cost.
• Participation certificate for all the participants.

Eligibility

Quiz

The quiz is open for all the candidates who have completed their education at least upto (10+2)/ Higher secondary level and are currently enrolled in any college/University/Institution which are operating from India and studying any course. Only recognized College, University and Institutions shall be eligible to participate.

College students shall be registered by their respective Colleges/Institutions.

Essay

Applicant

The Essay writing competition is open to all the citizens of India, who are above the age of 18.

Application is also open for Essay Evaluators and they will be paid for the same.

Eligibility– Any existing faculty of degree college teaching any language course, can apply as an essay evaluator.
