NISM-Series-XXIII: Social Impact Assessors Certification Examination

As per SEBI notified framework for Social Stock Exchange, any Social Auditor carrying out social audit (impact assessment) should have qualified the certification course conducted by National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM).

Accordingly, NISM has launched the NISM Series XXIII: Social Auditors Certification Examination on January 20, 2023.

As per the gazette notification dated 21st December 2023, regarding the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Issue of Capital and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2023, the term “Social Auditor” is replaced with “Social Impact Assessor,” the term “Social Audit Firm” is replaced with “Social Impact Assessment Firm,” and the term “Social Audit” is changed to “Social Impact Assessment.” Consequently, “NISM Series XXIII: Social Auditors Certification Examination” is renamed as “NISM Series XXIII: Social Impact Assessors Certification Examination”.

Details of the revised examination i.e. NISM Series XXIII: Social Impact Assessors Certification Examination (effective from April 16, 2024) have been given in the Annexure – I and Annexure – II, attached to this communiqué/press release.

The revised examination will be launched with effect from April 16, 2024.
