In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-regulation (3) of regulation 7 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Certification of Associated Persons in Securities Markets) Regulations 2007, National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM) in consultation with the Securities and Exchange Board of India hereby specifies the NISM-Series-XIV: Internal Auditors for Stock Brokers Certification Examination as the requisite standardfor Auditors (who are chartered accountants, company secretaries or cost and management accountants as mentioned in SEBI Circular no. MRD/DMS/Cir-29/2008 dated October 21, 2008) and/or its employees or partners signing the internal audit report.

The NISM-Series-XIV: Internal Auditors for Stock BrokersCertification Examination, offered by NISM, will be available from July 20, 2015.

Details of NISM-Series-XIV: Internal Auditors for Stock BrokersCertification Examination, are given in Annexure-I and Annexure-II attached to this communiqué/press release.
