The National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM) is a public trust established in 2006 by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), the regulator of the securities markets in India. The institute carries out a wide range of capacity building activities at various levels aimed at enhancing the quality standards in securities markets.

NISM organized an Industry Interaction session for all students on March 29, 2019. Mr. Jayant Nalawade, Advisor, NCCL and former CRO, NCDEX delivered an insightful lecture on “Agri-commodities Derivatives”.

Mr. Jayant Nalawade has over 37 years’ experience in Banking, Operations, Surveillance & Regulatory Compliance in Financial Services sector including Banks and a National Commodity Exchange. He was the Chief Regulatory Officer of NCDEX till March 2017.

Mr.Sunil Kadam, Registrar, NISM and Mr. Jitendra Kumar, Member of Faculty were also present during his session.

The session was appreciated by students and faculties.
