Workshop on commodities market 8 june 2015

The Workshop on “Commodities Market – an Overview” was conducted by NISM at SEBI Bhavan, BKC, Mumbai during May 28-29, 2015 for the officers of SEBI. The objective of the workshop was to provide an overview of the Commodities Market in India

The topics/areas covered, among others, are Commodities Market: Origin & Evolution, Commodities Supercycle, Emerging Trends in Commodities Market, Trading and Analytics in Commodities Market, Commodity Exchange & Ecosystem, Risk Management in Commodities Market, Case Studies, Integrated Regualtions of Equity and Commodities Market – Issues and Challenges for SEBI, etc.

The speakers for the workshop were experts, practitioners and consultants in the field of ‘Commodities Market’.

The workshop was inaugurated by Mr. Sandip Ghose, Director, NISM. The valedictory address was delivered by Mr. Rajeev Agarwal, WTM, SEBI.
