The broad objective of Capital Markets Conference (CMC) is to provide a platform to the researchers, industry participants, academicians and regulators to showcase cutting-edge research in the areas related to capital markets. The specific aim of this conference is to explore the possible impact of latest regulations on corporate bond markets, SME market structure and form, Risk management in financial markets, Mutual Funds and alternate investments and other structural aspects related to capital markets across multiple asset classes through invited papers and panel discussions. This conference is organised by the National Institute of Securities Markets and sponsored by the State Bank of India (Principal Sponsor).

The National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM) is a public trust established in 2006 by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), the regulator of the securities markets in India. The institute carries out a wide range of capacity building activities at various levels aimed at enhancing the quality standards and increase participation in the securities markets.

School for Securities Information and Research (SSIR) aims at promoting policy research, empirical and exploratory studies in the field of financial markets, innovative financial instruments, new regulation and introduction of new products and the challenges in the existing regulations related to financial markets.

The venue of the conference will be NISM, Patalganga campus. All authors of papers selected for presentation in the conference, will get free lodging and boarding at the NISM Patalganga campus on a sharing basis. Other participants will be charged for accommodation at ₹ 500 per night per person for Non AC rooms provided on twin sharing basis. For AC rooms the charges shall be ₹ 2,000 + taxes per person per night.
