The National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM) is a public trust established in 2006 by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), the regulator of the securities markets in India. The institute carries out a wide range of capacity building activities at various levels aimed at enhancing the quality standards in securities markets.

Mr. J N Gupta, the Founder and Managing Director of Stakeholders Empowerment Services and the former Executive Director, SEBI addressed the students today i.e. August 24,2018 at NISM Auditorium. He and his team were welcomed by Mr. G P Garg, Registrar and Mr. Jitendra Kumar, Faculty. Mr. Garg also presented him a flower bouquet.

The session was very interactive. The students asked questions related to various areas including Corporate governance to him.

He has given certain words of wisdom like:

“Whenever you get a choice, always exercise”.

“Governance begins when boundary of law ends”

“Law is the servant of the logic”.

He has also discussed some of the research report of Stakeholders Empowerment Services.

The students really benefited from his vast knowledge and experiences.
