The National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM) is a public trust established in 2006 by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), the regulator of the securities markets in India. The institute carries out a wide range of capacity building activities at various levels aimed at enhancing the quality standards in securities markets.

Library

National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM) has one of the finest library infrastructure facility in the campus spread over 20,000 sq. ft. area. NISM library is a specialised library exclusively focused on securities markets and related areas. The library resource consists of a collection of over 9400+ books, together with journals, databases, periodicals and films and the collection is ever-increasing. Though the library has been built up mainly to cater to the needs of the securities markets sector, it is well equipped in subject like economics, finance, banking, statistics, business, financial risk management, investment, quantitative methods etc. The library has subscribed 7 online databases, i.e. Bloomberg, Prowess, Indiastat, EBSCO, EBSCO E-books, Science Direct, J-gate. The library has also facilitated plagiarism checking through Turnitin software.
