Who can attend these training programmes?

These programmes are designed exclusively for undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) students.

Can I register for a programme individually?

No, individual bookings are not accepted. Bookings can only be initiated by the faculty members of the respective colleges.

What is the required batch size for registration?

Each programme requires a standard batch size of 30 participants. For the 1-day programme, students will share resources at a ratio of 2 students per terminal.

How far in advance do we need to book?

Booking timelines depend on the duration of your chosen programme:

  • 1-Day Programme: Minimum 15 days prior to the start date.
  • Residential Programmes (2 to 5 Days): 20–30 days prior to the start date.

What is the payment policy?

To confirm your booking, a 100% upfront payment is required.

What will we learn during the training?

All programmes provide hands-on exposure to Bloomberg terminals, financial markets, and analytical tools. The depth of topics increases with the programme duration:

  • 1-Day: Bloomberg Terminal introduction and a broad overview of asset classes and economic indicators.
  • 2-Day to 4-Day: Progressive deep dives into specific asset classes such as Currencies, Fixed Income (Bonds), Equities, Commodities, and Technical Indicators.
  • 5-Day: Comprehensive coverage of all asset classes, along with Technical Indicators, Portfolio Analysis using Bloomberg Analytics, and case study discussions using real market data.

What is included in the programme package?

All programme options include:

  • Daily learning sessions from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Certificate of Participation
  • 2 Tea/Coffee sessions per day
  • Complimentary access for one faculty member from your college

Are meals and accommodation provided?

  • 1-Day Programme: Includes lunch and tea. Accommodation is not provided.
  • Residential Programmes (2 to 5 Days): Includes shared hostel accommodation at the NISM Hostel and full meals under the American Plan.

Is Bloomberg Market Concept Certification included?

No, the Bloomberg Market Concept Certification is not covered in the standard package. However, it can be opted for at an additional cost.

Is transportation provided by NISM?

  • 1-Day Programme: Transport must be arranged entirely by the visiting institute.
  • Residential Programmes (2 to 5 Days): NISM provides pick-up and drop-off services within Mumbai limits.
