The National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM) is a public trust established in 2006 by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), the regulator of the securities markets in India. The institute carries out a wide range of capacity building activities at various levels aimed at enhancing the quality standards in securities markets.

Currently, NISM has been operating from its premises situated at Plot Nos. IS-1 and IS-2, Patalganga Ind. Area, Mohopada, Rasayani, Dist. Raigad, Near Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra 410 222. The premises are having a built up area of 7.00 lakh sq. ft. on plot of lands admeasuring about 70 acres.
