NISM INVITES APPLICATIONS FOR VARIOUS MARKETING POSITIONS

National Institute of Securities Markets (hereinafter referred to as the Institute or NISM) is an Institute established by Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) to build human resource capacity in the area of securities markets as well as across the financial sector. It is an autonomous public trust governed by its Board of Governors. Chairperson, SEBI is the ex-officio Chairperson of the Board of Governors.

NISM is involved in capacity building for the securities markets and conducts various capacity building activities including long- and short-term certification courses, mandatory certification of market intermediaries, Management Development Programs (MDPs), investor education and financial literacy programs and other related activities. It has significant industry interface and linkages.

NISM is currently operating from a state-of-the-art campus on a 70-acre plot of land at Patalganga, about 60 KMs from the Mumbai airport on Mumbai-Pune Express Highway.

In order to support the expanding activities of NISM, applications are invited from eligible candidates for various posts in Partnership and Marketing Department of NISM as under:

I). AGM – HEI Business

Functions and responsibilities

The indicative job responsibilities for the aforesaid position shall be as under:

1. Leading the collection of key educational databases from various institutions, ensuring comprehensive coverage.

2. Managing personalized invitation communications to stakeholders for collaboration opportunities.

3. Scheduling and coordinating meetings with potential partners, both online and offline, aligning with their preferences and availability.

4. Guiding the process of closing agreements, including Letters of Understanding (LoU) or similar contracts to formalize partnerships effectively.

5. Collaborating with partner institutions to establish compliant and operationally ready test centers on their premises.

6. Organizing impactful Faculty Development Programs (FDPs), webinars, and training sessions to enhance the skills and capabilities of HEI’s faculty members.

7. Supporting placement activities, student-oriented initiatives, short-term programs, and conduct Customer Success Management (CSM) sessions to promote student success.

8. Participating in educational events, conferences, and seminars to promote HEI’s services and foster relationships within the education sector.

 Required Skill Set:

– Candidates with Strong networking skills for participating in educational events and fostering relationships in the education sector will be preferred

– Experience in organizing educational programs, including Faculty Development Programs (FDPs) and webinars shall be preferred.

– Knowledge of contract negotiation and experience with formalizing agreements such as Letters of Understanding (LoU).

– Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

– Good Analytic Ability.

II). AGM – CSR/Fund raising

Functions and responsibilities

The indicative job responsibilities for the aforesaid position shall be as under:

1. Conducting research on potential collaborations and funding opportunities to support CSR initiatives.

2. Identifying and sourcing information about prospective funding agencies and maintaining a database for future reference.

3. Developing and managing a dedicated web page for CSR partnerships to attract and capture potential leads.

4. Developing and writing funding proposals; managing communications and relationships with potential sponsors

5. Leading the submission of proposals including budgeting, reporting, and financial performance and facilitate the signing of MoA with partners.

6. Coordinating with designers and marketing team for designing internal and external communications, including mailers, newsletters, and press releases for CSR events and programs CSR programs.

7. Developing strategies to increase contributions and secure commitments from individual and corporate entities.

8. Communicating regularly with partnered entities on project progress and outcomes.

9. Overseeing the internal team execution and implementation of CSR projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and regulatory requirements including post-execution reporting and follow-up with the Funding agencies.

10. Assisting the Vertical Head/ General Manager in developing and implementing strategic plans.

Required Skill Set:

– Expertise in developing and executing partnership plans with institutions like MII, MIs, Banks, NBFCs, and corporate entities will be preferred.

– Proficiency in writing funding proposals and managing sponsor communications.

– Ability to oversee budgeting, reporting, and financial performance related to CSR initiatives.

– Excellent written communication skills.

– Good Analytical Skills

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

a. Minimum Educational Qualification: Firstclass Post Graduate Degree or Equivalent in Finance/Securities Markets (includes one-year Post Graduate Diploma course offered by NISM)/Commerce/Economics/ Marketing/Operation/ Retail/ Social Media/ any other relevant discipline from a reputed Institute.

b. Experience: Minimum experience of 14 years preferably in securities market or educational institution.

COMPENSATION:

Depending upon the qualifications, college/institutions and experience the candidate’s pay-scale will be fixed in line with 7th CPC pay matrix with the gross pay starting from Rs.15 Lakhs PA.

Besides, suitable accommodation subject to availability, may be made available at concessional rate at the NISM Campus.

III). Assistant Manager/ Deputy Manager/ Manager: (Partnership /Collaboration/ Promotion/ Student Oriented Programs/HEIs)

A. Functions and responsibilities (Partnership /Collaborations & Execution – MIIs/ MIs, Banks Corporates & HEIs)

The indicative job responsibilities for the aforesaid positions shall be as under:

1. Assisting the execution of partnership plans for targeting MII/MIs/Banks/NBFCs, corporate entities, and other relevant institutions.

2. Creating a database of potential partners based on strategic fit, growth potential, and market opportunities by staying informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities.

3. Building and nurturing relationships with Decision Makers and stakeholders

4. Negotiating partnership agreements, terms, and conditions to ensure mutual benefit and long-term success.

5. Collaborating cross-functionally with internal teams to support partnership initiatives and achieve strategic objectives.

6. Monitoring and evaluating partnership performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.

B. Functions and responsibilities (Digital Marketing and Promotion/ Student Oriented Programs)

The indicative job responsibilities for the aforesaid positions shall be as under:

1. Managing and optimizing the student-oriented program database, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.

2. Performing counselling and career guidance for interested students on various courses and programs offered by the Institute.

3. Utilizing digital platforms including landing pages, email campaigns, lead nurturing, YouTube, and social media to effectively promote NISM Student Oriented programs.

4. Monitoring campaign performance and optimizing strategies to maximize participant enrollment and engagement.

5. Inviting and managing Applications for NISM’s long-term and short-term program. Coordinating with the Academic Department for smooth management of student hiring for different programs.

6. Coordinating logistical aspects, accommodations, program schedules, speakers, session deliveries, and campus tours to ensure seamless participant experiences.

Required Skill Set:

– Marketing experience in educational administration shall be preferred.

– Good knowledge of social media, digital marketing tools including landing pages, email campaigns, lead nurturing, YouTube, and other branding activities

– Proficiency in negotiating partnership agreements and terms to ensure mutual benefit.

– Awareness of financial markets, developments, trends and competitor activities.

– Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

– Good Analytical Skills

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

A. Minimum Educational Qualification: Firstclass Post Graduate Degree or Equivalent in Finance/Securities Markets (includes one-year Post Graduate Diploma course offered by NISM.)/Commerce/Economics/ Marketing/Operation/ Retail/ Social Media/ any other relevant discipline from a reputed Institute.

B. Experience: Minimum experience of 3 years preferably in securities market or educational institution.

The selected candidate shall be assigned responsibilities, designation and department commensurate with their qualification and experience.

COMPENSATION:

Depending upon the qualifications, college/institutions and experience the candidate’s pay-scale will be fixed at the level between 5-8 of 7th CPC pay matrix with the gross pay starting from Rs.8 Lakhs PA.

Besides, suitable accommodation subject to availability, may be made available at concessional rate at the NISM Campus.

TERMS OF APPOINTMENT FOR ALL POSTS (I, II and III):

The selected candidate shall initially be appointed on contract for a term of 3 years, which may further be extended based on performance.

The incumbent will demit the office on attaining the age of 60 years or at the end of the contract period, whichever is earlier. The institute reserves the right to terminate the contract by giving one month’s notice

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Mode of Selection shall be an interaction of the short-listed candidates with a “Selection Committee” constituted for the purpose.

2. The Institute reserves the right to modify the mode of selection, if deemed fit. It also reserves the right to raise the minimum standards in respect of age / qualification / experience, in order to restrict the number of candidates to be called for the interaction. Thus, merely fulfilling the eligibility criteria laid down in the advertisement as regards age/qualifications/experience would not automatically entitle any candidate to be called for the interaction.

3. The Institute reserves the right to reject any or all the applications without assigning any reasons therefor.

4. Canvassing in any form will disqualify the candidate.

5. Candidates shall satisfy themselves about their eligibility for the post applied for. The Institute shall determine their eligibility only at the final stage, i.e., while calling them for interaction.

6. If the candidates are not eligible or have knowingly or willfully furnished incorrect or false particulars or suppressed material information, their candidature will be liable to be rejected at any stage of the selection. If the candidate qualifies in the selection process and subsequently it is found that he/she does not fulfill the eligibility criteria, his/her candidature will be cancelled and, if appointed, the contract would be terminated forthwith without any notice or compensation.

7. The decision of the Institute in all matters would be final and binding, and no correspondence in this regard would be entertained.
