
The Workshop on ‘Role of Compliance Officers of Listed Companies’ was held during October 21-22, 2016 in association with National Foundation for Corporate Governance (NFCG) and Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) at NISM Bhavan, Navi Mumbai for the benefit of compliance officersof the listed companies andprofessionals. The main objective of the program was to apprehend and appreciate the ongoing updates in Corporate Laws and Securities Laws which are applicable for listed companies in letter and spirit and discuss the challenges faced by the compliance officers. The workshop was inaugurated by Dr.Rajesh Agrawal, Director, CCGRT ICSI. In his speech, he addressedvarious challenges faced by the compliance officers in today’s vibrant regulatory environment and how the compliance officers can apprise themselves by attending such workshops.
