(NISM)

The National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM) is a public trust established in 2006 by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), the regulator of the securities markets in India. The institute carries out a wide range of capacity building activities at various levels aimed at enhancing the quality standards in securities markets.

The Central and respective State/Local Government Authorities have imposed travel restrictions in various states, regions and districts in view of the ongoing pandemic situation. It appears that some of the candidates are attempting to go for exams outside their own jurisdiction despite the restrictions. NISM neither recommends nor endorses any such violations.

The local test centers, therefore, are advised not to permit any such candidate to appear for examination.  Any attempt of such violations shall be brought to the notice of the local government authorities for appropriate action.

The Candidates are responsible for any action taken by the Government or any agency for violations of directives issued by it  from time to time.
