Name: Dr. Prabhakar R. Patil Designation: Chief General Manager, SEBI Dr. Prabhakar R. Patil is currently working with Securities and Exchange Board of India as Chief General Manager and he is heading Department of Economic and Policy Analysis–1. The department looks after research and publications. He has joined SEBI in 1997 as Assist General Manager was involved in policy-oriented research activities and official publications like Annual Report, Hand Book of Statistics in Securities Markets and Monthly Bulletin. Further, he was on deputation as Director at Forward Markets Commission, the regulator of the Commodities Derivatives Market, during the period of 2005 to Feb 2009. During the deputation period, he was looking after risk management at Exchanges, Contracts Approval, and Permission for the regulated entities for setting up subsidiaries abroad and Co-ordination with external agencies. He was also the member Secretary of the Risk Management Group set-up by the FMC. Several research articles were published in reviewed Journals and Conferences during the last two decades. He also has wide experience of teaching at University and Management Institutions.
He holds a doctoral degree from Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.

Name: Dr. Ramesh Babu Thimmaraya Designation: Director & Head of Quantitative Research, Ernst & Young, Financial service Advisory, India Dr. Ramesh Babu Thimmaraya is a Director & Head of Quantitative Research at Ernst & Young, Financial Services Advisory, India. He is a former researcher and scientist in aerospace engineering, holds a PhD in non-linear dynamics & complex systems. He has published 28 research papers in the areas of applied mathematics, engineering technology & quantitative economics and authored an international book titled “Dynamics of Financial Stress and Economic Performance: Insights and Analysis from the World Economy” in which he has developed a novel analytical framework which helps in understanding the critical & current economic issues facing the world economy.
He also serves as a task force central committee member to AIBMS (All India Board for Management Studies) under AICTE, Govt. of India. As a visiting faculty, he teaches a wide variety of subjects including; Advanced Theory of Optimization, Mathematical Statistics, Stochastic Calculus & Quantitative behavioural Economics. He was recognized by Marquis Who’s Who in the World for his contributions as a young scientist. He was facilitated with young thought leader award by Standard & Poor’s for his research contributions.

Name: Dr. Malabika Deo Designation: Professor of Finance in the Department of Commerce, Pondicherry Central University Dr. Malabika Deo is working as a Professor of Finance in the Department of Commerce, Pondicherry Central University. She is having more than 35 years of research and teaching experience in the field of finance (more specifically in behavioural finance, Investment, security & portfolio management and Derivatives and Risk Management) quantitative techniques, international trade. She was heading the Department of Commerce for seven years and was the Finance officer of Pondicherry University for two years. She was the first female President of All India Commerce Association. Dr. Deo holds a PhD in commerce from Pondicherry University. She has successfully produced twelve PhD and eight are in progress. Apart from that under her guidance forty-five, M. Phil have been awarded and more than two hundred and fifty M.Com. Students have done their Internship and summer projects. She has completed several ICSSR and UGC projects. She has more than 150 research papers in international and national journals, two books, eight edited books, and nine course materials for the Pondicherry University distance education are to her credit. She has delivered lectures and chaired sessions in over fifty-five organisations. She has presented 150 research papers in several national and international conferences. She is a life member of several All India associations in the field of commerce, accounting and finance. She is a member of the board of studies, board of examinations, research advisory board, editorial boards, selection board, academic council, doctoral committee; PhD thesis adjudicator of several University throughout the length and breadth of the country. She also is in several committees of UGC, ICSSR and NAAC.

Name: Dr HK Pradhan Designation: Professor, XLRI, Jamshedpur - Member Dr HK Pradhan has been Professor of Finance and Economics at XLRI, Xavier School of Management, Jamshedpur, for the last 27 years, where he also served as the member of the Board of Governors, Chair of Finance area and Chair of the Doctoral programme and currently Chairs the Financial Market Centre. He has over 35 years of experience in teaching, research, and consulting in the field of finance and economics. Dr Pradhan has a master’s in economics from the Utkal University, an M Phil & Ph.D. from the University of Pune and was a Fulbright Post-Doctoral Fellow at the Columbia University Business School, New York during 1999-2000. Dr Pradhan is presently an Independent Director of The Clearing Corporation of India Limited and the State Bank of India-DFHI Mumbai. He served as the Chairman and Public Interest Director of The Indian Commodity Exchange (ICEX), Mumbai, during 2018-2020, an Independent Director of the State Bank of India Mutual Fund during 2009-2015, a member of the Board of Micro Credit Rating International Ltd (Mcril), founding Trustee Board of Director of the Yes Mutual Fund and was a member of the Index & Option Committee of the National Commodity and Derivative Exchange (NCDEX), Mumbai. Dr Pradhan was a member of the RBI Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) on Financial Markets during 2012-15. He has extensive academic visits to several Universities such as Columbia Business School (1999-2000), University of Bonn (Summer of 1998), the Institute for Mathematics and its Applications (IMA) of the University of Minnesota(2004), Allied Institute of Management (Dubai), etc. Dr Pradhan has worked as the Pacific Regional Advisor for the Commonwealth Secretariat, London, while serving concurrently as the Resident Debt Advisor with the Ministry of Finance, Government of Fiji Islands, during 2005-07. He served as debt advisor for the Commonwealth Countries, acted as expert for the United Nations in the Finance for Development (FfD) initiative, drafted the framework papers for the Doha meet of the UN-ESCAP in 2008, acted as consultant to the Asian Development Bank on Municipal Bonds, and to the Crown Agents London on national and sub-national debt management. He extensively advised government debt management programs in Commonwealth Developing countries. Dr Pradhan has researched and published in high quality finance journals in the areas of Indian securities market, specifically debt markets, asset management industry, asset pricing, financial risk management, and SME and microfinance, and foreign currency markets. He has acted as principal guide to twelve Ph Ds in finance. He currently teaches debt markets and their derivatives, international financial management, financial risk management, securities analysis and portfolio management and empirical finance.
