The National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM) is a public trust established in 2006 by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), the regulator of the securities markets in India. The institute carries out a wide range of capacity building activities at various levels aimed at enhancing the quality standards in securities markets.

Mumbai, November 28, 2025 — The National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM) launched the NISM Ideathon 2025 on Cybersecurity and Investor Awareness on August 1, 2025, and accepted submissions until September 30, 2025.

This special initiative, part of NISM’s broader advocacy efforts, aimed to enhance financial literacy and promote investor education in India’s securities markets.
