The institute carries out a wide range of capacity building activities at various levels aimed at enhancing the quality standards in securities markets.

Mumbai, November 28, 2025 — The National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM) launched the NISM Ideathon 2025 on Cybersecurity and Investor Awareness on August 1, 2025, and accepted submissions until September 30, 2025.

This special initiative, part of NISM’s broader advocacy efforts, aimed to enhance financial literacy and promote investor education in India’s securities markets.

The 10 shortlisted projects are mentioned below (in no particular ranking order). From these, the Top 3 winning teams will be selected in due course. The shortlisted teams will be informed separately about the next steps of evaluation process.
