Mr. Dashrath Gavade is a seasoned professional with over 32 years of diverse experience in infrastructure development, mass housing, facility and estate management, project execution, and general administration across the public and corporate sectors.
He holds a Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering from the University of Mumbai and a Post Graduate Programme in Infrastructure Development and Management from NICMAR, Pune, Maharashtra.

Mr. Gavade began his professional career with CIDCO, Government of Maharashtra, where he served for over a decade and contributed to several large-scale infrastructure and mass housing development projects in Navi Mumbai. His subsequent experience in the corporate sector further enriched his expertise in infrastructure planning, project implementation, facility management, and administrative operations, providing him with a comprehensive understanding of both public-sector and corporate environments.
Since joining the National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM) in 2010, Mr. Gavade has been entrusted with key responsibilities across Infrastructure, Estate & Premises Management, Security, and General Services. As the Head of AD–Estate & Premises Management and Security (AD-3), he oversees the planning and implementation of ongoing and new infrastructure projects, interior furnishing and development of premises, horticulture and landscaping initiatives, tree plantation programmes, and repair and maintenance activities.

He is also responsible for the effective management and coordination of 29 essential services across NISM premises, including Building Management Systems (BMS), air-conditioning, audio-visual systems, fire and life-safety systems, and other allied infrastructure and facility services. In addition, he provides also head of department for the Security and Protocol Divisions, ensuring operational preparedness, effective administration, and seamless support for the Institute’s programmes and institutional activities.

With his extensive experience in infrastructure development, project management, estate and facility management, administration, security, and institutional operations, Mr. Gavade plays a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient, safe, sustainable, and well-coordinated functioning of NISM’s premises and support services, contributing significantly to the Institute’s academic, administrative, and institutional objectives.
