Sandeep K Biswal currently heads the digital learning division at NISM which develops and delivers self-paced online courses for securities market professionals, students, and investors. Previously, he was involved in the design and delivery of financial literacy programs, specifically empowering school and college students across India. Prior to joining NISM, he has worked with NIPFP and ICMR in areas of economics and public finance research.

He is a post graduate in Economics (GIPE) and Psychology (Madras University). He also holds a PGP in Finance from NISM and has recently completed the Oxford Artificial Intelligence Programme from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford.

Sandeep speaks on personal finance topics at colleges and universities, especially on important behavioural aspects of financial decision making. He has been an expert mentor for start-ups at Youth Co: Lab India 2022-23 (An initiative by UNDP, AIM, NITI Aayog) on the theme of Digital and Financial Literacy for Youth.
