The National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM) is a public trust established in 2006 by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), the regulator of the securities markets in India. The institute carries out a wide range of capacity building activities at various levels aimed at enhancing the quality standards in securities markets.

ADVERTISEMENT FOR INVITING APPLICATIONS -Sponsorship & Participation – Compliance & Reg Tech Lab at NISM

NISM is a public trust, established by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), the regulator for securities markets in India. NISM seeks to add to market quality through educational initiatives. It is an autonomous body governed by its Board of Governors.

Applications are invited from the RegTech start-ups, established software vendors, brokerage firms, financial market participants, technology companies, and other interested organizations for participation in the establishment of a proposed RegTech Lab at NISM.

The RegTech Lab is proposed to serve as a technology-driven platform for education, training, simulation, research, and innovation in the areas of financial markets, regulatory technologies, risk management, compliance, analytics, AI/ML applications, and market surveillance.

Interested organizations may submit their applications indicating their proposed mode of participation, including but not limited to:

  • • Sponsorship

  • • Partnership

  • • Technology Collaboration

  • • Research and Academic Collaboration

  • • Other (Please Specify)

Applicants may also submit:

  • • Company Profile

  • • Details of relevant experience and expertise

  • • Proposed solution / concept note / proposal

  • • Any other relevant information supporting their participation

The applications received shall be reviewed by NISM, and shortlisted applicants may subsequently be contacted separately for further discussions, presentations, or additional processes, as deemed appropriate.

Application Submission Process

Interested organisations may submit their application in online mode. The step-by-step process is as follows:

  1. 1. Refer to the “Requirement of Software Solution” document (PDF attached).

  2. 2. Download the Application Form (Word document attached).

  3. 3. Complete the form and upload it along with the required documents using the upload section.
