
The National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM) successfully conducted its 11th Convocation Ceremony on March 8, 2026, at the NISM campus in Patalganga, near Navi Mumbai. The ceremony celebrated the academic achievements of students graduating from the institute’s various programs.
The convocation ceremony was graced by General Bikram Singh, who attended as the Chief Guest. In his address to the graduating students, he congratulated them on their accomplishments and encouraged them to uphold the values of discipline, integrity, and professionalism while contributing meaningfully to India’s financial markets and institutions.
The ceremony was attended by Shri Sunil Jayawant Kadam, ED- SEBI and Member of BOG- NISM, and Shri Sashi Krishnan, Director, NISM. Shri Kadam presented an overview of the institute’s achievements and key initiatives undertaken over the past year. In his address, Shri Krishnan highlighted the institute’s commitment to nurturing skilled professionals for the securities markets through high-quality academic programs, research, and training initiatives, while also outlining NISM’s future goals and priorities.
The event was also attended by Smt. Yogita Shrikant Jadhav, Registrar, NISM; Smt. Rachana Baid, Dean, NISM; and Shri Nikhil Shinde, HOD – AD- COE, Placement & APU, NISM, along with faculty members, administrative staff, graduating students, parents, alumni and other residential students.
During the ceremony, degrees and certificates were conferred upon students who completed their respective programs. A total of 275 students graduated across multiple academic programs, including: PGP PM/IA/RA) – (2023–24 batch) and (2024–25 batch), PGDM- SM– (2022–24 batch), PGPISM – (2024–25 batch), PGCSM – (2024–25 batch) and (2022–23 batch)
The convocation marked a significant milestone for the graduating students and recognised their dedication and academic achievements in the field of securities markets.
The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Smt. Yogita Shrikant Jadhav, Registrar, NISM, expressed gratitude to the Chief Guest, the institute leadership, faculty members, staff, and all participants who contributed to the successful organisation of the event.
The 11th Convocation Ceremony reaffirmed NISM’s commitment to academic excellence and its mission of developing competent professionals for India’s evolving securities markets.
