NISM proudly hosted its 5th Alumni Meet on March 7, 2026, at the NISM Patalganga Campus, bringing together alumni from various long-term programs to reconnect with their alma mater and relive cherished memories. The event began with registration and kit distribution, followed by a lively meet-and-greet session at the selfie point, where alumni interacted with their batchmates and faculty members while capturing memorable moments.

The inaugural session commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp, symbolising knowledge and unity. Dr Rachana Baid, Dean & HOD- CCB Academics, addressed the gathering and highlighted the institute’s academic achievements and the importance of continued engagement with alumni. Shri Sashi Krishnan, Director, NISM, also addressed the alumni and spoke about the crucial role they play in strengthening the institute’s legacy and fostering meaningful industry connections. He also encouraged alumni to contribute articles to the alumni magazine “Jigyansa.”

A special highlight of the event was the launch of the Alumni Magazine (Issue 4) “Jigyansa” and the Student Magazine (Issue 7) “Vriddhi,” celebrating the ideas, achievements, and contributions of both alumni and students. The inaugural session also featured an entertaining stand-up comedy performance by Mr Siddhartha Shetty, along with cultural segments presented by residential students, adding vibrancy to the celebration.

The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Smt. Yogita Shrikant Jadhav, Registrar, NISM, expressed gratitude to all the alumni, faculty members, and organising team for making the event a memorable occasion. Following the inauguration, alumni enthusiastically participated in various sports activities, including cricket, badminton, chess, and carrom, fostering camaraderie and friendly competition among participants from different batches.

The celebrations continued into the evening with a lively DJ night at the amphitheatre, during which the sports awards ceremony was also held to recognise the winners of the tournaments. Alumni enthusiastically enjoyed the music and dance, creating an atmosphere of joy and celebration. The evening was filled with engaging conversations, strengthening the bond among alumni and with the institute and fellow alumni.

The 5th Alumni Meet successfully served as a platform for reconnecting, networking, and celebrating the enduring relationship between NISM and its alumni community.
