The National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM) is a public trust established in 2006 by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), the regulator of the securities markets in India. The institute carries out a wide range of capacity building activities at various levels aimed at enhancing the quality standards in securities markets.

NISM-capital markets

National Institute of Securities Markets conducted one-day programme on Building Careers in Capital Markets for the students from Pillai College of Arts, Commerce and Science, New Panvel at NISM Bhavan, Vashi on July 15, 2019.

The programme was attended by 25 students. Career session was taken by Ms.Hershita Pant (Assistant Manager, NISM). The programme helps students in broadly understanding the roles of various market intermediaries and guides in establishing a career in the capital markets.

This was followed by a practical hands-on experience through NISM exclusive Simulation Trading Lab relating to trading and investment. The trading session was taken by Dr.Pradiptarathi Panda,Lecturer NISM.
