The National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM) is a public trust established in 2006 by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), the regulator of the securities markets in India. The institute carries out a wide range of capacity building activities at various levels aimed at enhancing the quality standards in securities markets.

Industry-Interaction Session

Continuing with the series of Industry-Interaction session from eminent corporate and academics, NISM hosted Mr. P K Kuriachen, former CGM, SEBI on April 5, 2019. He has worked in SEBI for about 24 years and 8 years in FSC Mauritius. He is holds a Master’s degree in Commerce (M.Com), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and is a Qualified Banker (CAIIB). He spoke about “Introduction to International Finance Center (IFC) and Experience of FSC Mauritius”.

Mr. Sunil Kadam, Registrar, NISM and Mr. Jitendra Kumar, Member of Faculty were also present during his session.

The session was appreciated by students and faculties.
