The National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM) is a public trust established in 2006 by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), the regulator of the securities markets in India. The institute carries out a wide range of capacity building activities at various levels aimed at enhancing the quality standards in securities markets.

Three experts from the markets viz.

  • Mr. Rana Rajan , the Chief Compliance Officer for Credit Suisse and former SEBI Officers.
  • Mr. Partha Pratim Basu , the Chief Operating Officer for the Wealth Management business for Credit Suisseand former SEBI Officers.
  • Mr. Sanjay Chandel , an Advisor in GMR Infrastructure Ltd and Bharti Airtel Ltd. as wellas co-owner of Azure Capital Advisors Pvt. Ltd.and former SEBI Officers.

Addressed the NISM Students on August 31, 2018. All of them are having more than 2-decades of experience in securities markets.

They shared their views on Wealth Management, Compliance, Risk Management and Capital Markets in general. They have also emphasized the importance of discipline in the life of students. A detail discussion also took place on career opportunities in securities markets.
