
Every year NISM allows selective foreign interns from Worlds top most Universities to do research projects in related areas of financial markets. This continuous programme is called as Global Exposure Programme (GEP). The GEP 2017 of NISM has been started in the month of June 2017. In total ten Interns from Boston University, New Castle University, University of Groningens and University of Edinburgh has actively participated in this programme. The programme was inaugurated by Shri. Sandip Ghose, Director and Shri. G. P. Garg, Registrar.
The duration of batch-I was from June 27 to August 04, 2017 for six weeks and batch-II was from July 14 to August 10, 2017 for four weeks. All 10 interns were divided into four groups. Group one has done project onimpact of demonetisation on digital payments systems in India, second group has worked on India’s cashless ecosystem, third group on making financial education more effective for youth globally and fourth group on private equity in India.
