The National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM) is a public trust established in 2006 by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), the regulator of the securities markets in India. The institute carries out a wide range of capacity building activities at various levels aimed at enhancing the quality standards in securities markets.

NISM in association with MCX and NCDEX have conducted a One-day Interactive Session on Arbitration for National Commodities Derivatives Exchanges on February 01, 2019 at The Hans, New Delhi.

The main objective of the programme was to update the participants about latest developments in commodities derivatives markets including regulatory & legal framework as well as latest amendment/case laws on Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.

Total 19 participants including Arbitrators, IGRP Members and Exchange Officials have attended the programme.
