The National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM) is a public trust established in 2006 by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), the regulator of the securities markets in India. The institute carries out a wide range of capacity building activities at various levels aimed at enhancing the quality standards in securities markets.

A regional Seminar on Indian Securities Markets and Career Opportunities was held in Osmani University, Hyderabad on 18th April 2014.The programme was jointly organized by NISM and Birla Sunlife Mutual Fund.

A total of 260 students from management stream attended the programme.

The programme was inaugurated by Shri Sandip Ghosh, Director NISM and the sessions were handled by experts in the field of Capital Markets, Mutual Funds etc.
