The National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM) is a public trust established in 2006 by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), the regulator of the securities markets in India. The institute carries out a wide range of capacity building activities at various levels aimed at enhancing the quality standards in securities markets.

Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM) and The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICAI) is renewed for three years. A Joint program on “Role of CMA in Capital Markets and Investment” was organised on September 16, 2020 at 11:00 am in web mode. The live program was also made available through the youtube channel to all the members and students of the ICAI institute. The live program was attended by more than 800 participants on that day. The online Investment Management course having three levels was launched on this occasion. The chief guest of the program was Shri S. K. Mohanty, Director, NISM and WTM SEBI spoke about the need and the value of investment management for Cost and Management Accountants (CMA). Dr. V. R. Narasimhan, Dean, SCG and SRSS provided the audience details about this three levels Investment Management Course and the Algo and Trading Analytics Lab (ATAL) resources, that will be used to provide a simulated dealing room experience and learning to the participants in the program. CMA Yatrik Vin, CFO NSE spoke about the importance of investment management and the role of CMA in this field. CMA Nayan Mehta, CFO BSE spoke on the general importance and role of CMA in Capital Markets. Dr. Latha Chari made an opening remarks in the programme and resolved the queries of attendees for the information like fees, syllabus of three levels etc. The Vote of Thanks was given by Shri Sunil Kadam, Registrar, NISM.
