(NISM)

The National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM) is a public trust established in 2006 by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), the regulator of the securities markets in India. The institute carries out a wide range of capacity building activities at various levels aimed at enhancing the quality standards in securities markets.

A guest lecture was organized by R. A. Podar Institute of Management, Jaipur on August 10, 2018. The lecture was guided by Mr. G.P. Garg, Registrar, NISM.

The lecture was conducted on the topic ‘Overview of Securities Market and Career in Securities Market’. He briefed the students about the concepts related to Capital Markets and significance of Capital Market in India. It was an enlightening session as he shared real life experiences and told the students about the role of securities market and need for regulator. It was a learning and interactive session for the students.
