The National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM) is a public trust established in 2006 by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), the regulator of the securities markets in India. The institute carries out a wide range of capacity building activities at various levels aimed at enhancing the quality standards in securities markets.

NISM Bhavan | September 26-27, 2016

The Training Programme on ‘Fixed Income Securities – Analysis & Pricing’ was held during September 26-27, 2016 at NISM Bhavan, Vashi, Navi Mumbai for both regulatory bodies and market participants.

The prime objective of programme was to provide participants a better and deeper understanding on the various aspects of the Fixed Income Securities Market in India and also the practical insights on the functioning and analysis of the Fixed Income Securities in India.

The topics discussed include Introduction to Fixed Income Securities, Issue Process, Spot & Forward Rates and Fixed Income Derivatives, Analysis of Fixed Income Securities, Trading Strategies, SLR Maintenance, Compliance and Fixed Income Derivatives, Investment in Fixed Income Securities – Risk & Reward, Pricing and Valuation of Fixed Income Securities, Securitization Industry in India, Global Macro Economy & its Impact on Indian Financial Market, etc.

The participants for the programme were from different institutions like SEBI, PFRDA, Birla Sun Life Asset Management Co., Birla Sun Life Insurance Co. Ltd., Quantum Asset Management Company Private Ltd, Capital First Limited and other market participants.

The Speakers for the programme were the persons of eminence including Senior Professionals having experience of handling key positions in the debt market in India.
