The National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM) is a public trust established in 2006 by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), the regulator of the securities markets in India. The institute carries out a wide range of capacity building activities at various levels aimed at enhancing the quality standards in securities markets.

NISM has conducted a 5-days workshop (2 hours session daily) during November 24-28, 2014 on Macroeconomics for the Officers of the SEBI at SEBI Bhavan, Mumbai. The workshop was inaugurated by WTM, SEBI Shri Prashant Saran. The session was concluded on 28th November 2014 with the valedictory address by WTM, SEBI Shri Rajeev Kumar Agarwal in the function attended by Shri Sandip Ghose, Director, NISM and other SEBI Officials.
