In case candidates require special accommodation for appearing for NISM Certification Examinations, such candidates may inform NISM regarding the same. In order to assist candidates requiring special accommodations, candidates are required to fill the form given below to NISM at least 10 days in advance. Approval for Special Accommodation will be provided to the requesting candidate/s by NISM after assessing its need at its sole discretion.
Scribe Eligibility Criteria for NISM’s Certification Examination:
- The provision to avail Scribe support while appearing for NISM’s Certification Examinations is enabled only to those candidates who are unable to write the exam on their own (as per the “Guidelines for conducting written examination for persons with benchmark disabilities 2018” and the “Rights of persons with disabilities act, 2016”).
- The scribe should not have the same or higher educational qualification as the candidate. The scribe should only assist the candidate in writing and should not help the candidate in solving the examination questions.
- The scribe should not be involved in the same examination process.
- The scribe may belong to any discipline other than pursuing / qualified / completed graduation or higher qualification in Accountancy / Economics / Business Management / Finance / Securities Markets / Financial Markets.
- The scribe needs to be arranged by the candidate.
- Each eligible candidate is allowed only one scribe, and the same scribe must remain for the entire duration of the exam.
- The scribe must carry a valid government-issued photo ID and may be subject to verification at the exam center.
- The scribe must follow all examination rules and must maintain confidentiality.
- Any malpractice or violation of examination rules will lead to disqualification and the appropriate disciplinary actions on both the candidate and the scribe.
