The National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM) is a public trust established in 2006 by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), the regulator of the securities markets in India. The institute carries out a wide range of capacity building activities at various levels aimed at enhancing the quality standards in securities markets.

The inaugural ceremony of Post Graduate Program in Investment and Securities Markets [PGPISM 2024-25 Batch] was held on Tuesday June 04, 2024 at NISM, Patalganga Campus.

Dr. Kapil Shrimal, Associate Professor, NISM, welcomed the Chief Guest, dignitaries and students to ceremony. Dr. Rachana Baid, Dean (Academics), NISM congratulated the students for securing the admission to the program. During her address she spoke about the importance of Securities Markets and the pivotal role played by NISM through this program. Shri Sunil J. Kadam, Registrar, NISM while delivering his message spoke on the importance of overall development and appealed them to take maximum advantage of the curriculum and other extra-curricular activities.

Shri Sashi Krishnan, Director, NISM complimented the students for their decision to join NISM and said that this decision will be a stepping stone towards their future success. He elaborated on the career opportunities and the challenges in Securities Markets.
