The National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM) is a public trust established in 2006 by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), the regulator of the securities markets in India. The institute carries out a wide range of capacity building activities at various levels aimed at enhancing the quality standards in securities markets.

NISM has inaugurated the second batch of Certificate Program in Custodian Services jointly with ICICI Bank at the main campus situated in Patalganga.

The inauguration Ceremony was held on Monday January 15, 2024 at NISM Campus, Patalganga, Raigad.

Dr. Kapil Shrimal, Program Director (CCS) welcomed the participants form ICICI Bank, introduced about the program structure, delivery mode and briefed about the session plan for next fifteen days.

Dr. Rachana Baid, Dean (Academics) NISM inaugurated the program by congratulating all the participants, and shared with them the role and importance of custodian in capital markets and emphasized the need for the program in the growing custodian business of capital market.

Mr. Avinash Kansal (Head – Capital Markets and Custody Group) form ICICI Bank addressed the participants, highlighted the benefits of the program for their career growth, and motivated the participants to make the best use to this fifteen days program at NISM Campus. Other officials from the ICICI Bank also interacted with the participants.

Total 29 participant from the Custody team of ICICI Bank has joined the program.
