The National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM) is a public trust established in 2006 by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), the regulator of the securities markets in India. The institute carries out a wide range of capacity building activities at various levels aimed at enhancing the quality standards in securities markets.

The Training Programme on ‘Fixed Income Securities’ was held during December 08-09, 2015 at NISM Premises, Navi Mumbai for Market Participants from various Organizations.
The prime objective of the programme was to make participants aware and update on the basic concepts, product, processes and regulations of Fixed Income Securities.
The topics discussed include Introduction to Fixed Income Securities, Retail Participants in Fixed Income Securities, Securitised Debt, Fixed Income Derivatives, CDS, Analysis and Trading of Fixed Income Securities, Investment in Fixed Income Securities – Risk and Reward, Pricing and Valuation of Fixed Income Securities, Global Macro Economy & its impact on Indian Financial Market and case study on Sovereign Debt Crisis and Indian Debt Market – Issues, Challenges and Opportunities.
The Speakers were the persons of eminence including Senior Professionals having experience of handling key positions in Financial Markets.
