The National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM) is a public trust established in 2006 by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), the regulator of the securities markets in India. The institute carries out a wide range of capacity building activities at various levels aimed at enhancing the quality standards in securities markets.

NISM had the privilege of receiving a delegation comprising of Mrs. Khumbo Mtalika, Director, Financial Sector Regulation Department, Mr. Franklyn Khoza, Manager, Market Development, Ms. Lynda Kananza, Chief Examiner, Capital Markets & Microfinance Regulation, Mrs. Rehema Mvula – Chief Examiner, Capital Markets Supervision from Reserve Bank of Malawi (RBM) during September 21-23, 2022 at its Patalganga Campus.

The delegation had detailed interactions with the Director, Registrar, faculty members and other senior officials of NISM on the functioning of Indian BFSI Sector. 

The delegation appreciated the role and facilities of NISM.
