The National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM) is a public trust established in 2006 by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), the regulator of the securities markets in India. The institute carries out a wide range of capacity building activities at various levels aimed at enhancing the quality standards in securities markets.

National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM) is conducting a Workshop on ‘Merchant Banking and Asset Management in India’ for Members of Merchant Bankers Association of Nepal (MBAN) during May 6 – 11, 2024 at NISM Campus, Patalganga. The programme is attended by 31 participants and they are from various Merchant Bankers and Asset Management Companies of Nepal.

The programme is aimed at familiarizing delegates with structure of Indian securities markets as well as giving a comprehensive overview of merchant banking operations and asset management functions in India.

The programme was inaugurated on May 6, 2024 by Dr. Rachana Baid, Dean, NISM.
