The National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM) is a public trust established in 2006 by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), the regulator of the securities markets in India. The institute carries out a wide range of capacity building activities at various levels aimed at enhancing the quality standards in securities markets.

National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM) and Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on Thursday, February 22, 2024. The MOU marks the continuation of the long-term association between the two institutes that will facilitate and enhance institutional collaboration in the area of capacity building and collaborative programmes in the area of Compliance, Securities Markets, Law and governance. 

The MOU was signed in the presence of Shri. Ashwani Bhatia, Whole Time Member, SEBI & Director, NISM, Shri B. Narasimhan, President, ICSI, Shri. Sunil Jayawant Kadam, Registrar, NISM. Other senior officials of NISM and ICSI were also present during the event.
