The National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM) is a public trust established in 2006 by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), the regulator of the securities markets in India. The institute carries out a wide range of capacity building activities at various levels aimed at enhancing the quality standards in securities markets.

A two day lab exclusive FDP program on “Trading in Equity” was conducted on 8th and 9th Sept, 2016 at NISM Bahavan, Vashi, Navi Mumbai.

The program was attended by about 16 participants. Participants were from diverse backgrounds including students, predominantly faculty from colleges across Coimbatore, Pune, Mumbai; professional trainers conducting free lancing training programs and industry professionals from insurance, CAG, securities firms. The program was a blend of essential theory and hands on session aimed at enabling participants to understand trading operations and simple trading strategies that will support trading in equity cash market segment. The program was well received by all the participants.
