The National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM) is a public trust established in 2006 by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), the regulator of the securities markets in India. The institute carries out a wide range of capacity building activities at various levels aimed at enhancing the quality standards in securities markets.

Mr. Madhusudan Subramanian is the Founder and CIO of Azimuth Research, a leading global investment research and analytics firm based in Mumbai, addressed the NISM students at NISM Campus, Patalganga on February 01, 2019. He has worked at MSCI, Morgan Stanley, Principal Financial Group, Kotak Mahindra Group and American Express in roles spanning quantitative investment research and strategies, new product development, risk analytics and Fin-Tech ventures.

Prof. Jainendra Shandilya, Member of Faculty,NISM was also there during the session.

Mr. Madhusudan Subramanian has explained in detail about the topic ‘In Search of Alpha – Methods, Minds and Markets.’

The session was followed by Q&A sessions.
