The National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM) is a public trust established in 2006 by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), the regulator of the securities markets in India. The institute carries out a wide range of capacity building activities at various levels aimed at enhancing the quality standards in securities markets.

National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM) has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Saintgits Institute of Management, Kottayam. This MoU calls for collaboration in knowledge dissemination, skill enhancement in the domain of securities markets.

Under the MoU, the institutes plan to launch a wide array of capacity building activities. The programmes would support the career aspirations (in securities markets) of students and working professionals.

The signing ceremony of the MoU was held in NISM Bhavan, Vashi, Navi Mumbai at 11:00 am on October 04, 2018. The MoU was signed by Dr. (Mrs.) M. Thenmozhi (Director, NISM) and Dr. Roji George(Dean & Professor, SIM) , in the presence of Dr. Nitin Tike (S.V.P, NISM), Dr. Jose Joy Thoppan (Associate Professor, SIM) and Ms. Megha Gupta (Assistant Manager, NISM).
