
The National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM), in collaboration with NAL Academy, inaugurated Batch 2 of the PG Certification in FinTech on 18 April 2026 through an online orientation programme. The 10-month weekend course aims to equip participants with knowledge of financial markets and emerging financial technologies, bridging the gap between finance and technology.
The session began with a welcome address, followed by the inaugural address by Shri Sashi Krishnan, Director, NISM who emphasized the growing importance of FinTech and the need for skilled professionals. Shri Abhilash Misra, MD & CEO, NAL Academy, shared insights on workforce readiness and continuous upskilling, while Dr. Rachana Baid, Dean, NISM, highlighted the importance of professionalizing securities markets through education and ethical practices.
Dr. Kirti Arekar, Program Director, explained the programme structure, curriculum, and policies. The event also included faculty and participant introductions, encouraging engagement and collaboration. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks marking the successful launch of the second batch.
