The National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM) is a public trust established in 2006 by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), the regulator of the securities markets in India. The institute carries out a wide range of capacity building activities at various levels aimed at enhancing the quality standards in securities markets.

SSIR had conducted One day Programme on ‘ Trading In Equity Markets’ on October29-,2018 at NISM Bhavan Vashi, Navi Mumbai. 27 MBA (Finance) students from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Managament Studies have attended the Programme.

The objective of the programme was to enable the participants to

  • Understand the trading operations.
  • Exercise and learn the nuances of placing orders.
  • Concepts related to order and trade management .
  • Client level risk management in the markets.

The Programme was a blend of theory and hands on session. Topics covered during Workshop were:

  • Market Operations.
  • Sessions of the Market.
  • Hands on Equity Segment
  • Risk Management & debriefing

Sessions were Taken By: Dr Latha Chari (Dean Incharge SSIR & Professor, NISM)

Certificate of Participation was issued to all the participants at the end of the programme. The programme was well received and highly appreciated by the participants.
