The National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM) is a public trust established in 2006 by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), the regulator of the securities markets in India. The institute carries out a wide range of capacity building activities at various levels aimed at enhancing the quality standards in securities markets.

Programme on Pooled Investment Vehicles (Indian and Global Perspective)

December 9-13, 2019 | NISM Campus, Patalganga

NISM has conducted a week programme under Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation Programme (ITEC) Ministry of External Affairs, Govt. of India on “Pooled Investment Vehicles (Indian & Global Perspectives)”from December 9-13, 2019 at NISM Campus, Patalganga. Total 7 participants of different countries like Honduras, Mongolia, Namibia, Peru, Fiji, Sri lanka have attended the programme.

Mr. Sunil Kadam (Registrar, NISM), inaugurated the programme and addressed the participants. Dr. V. R. Narasimhan (Dean SRSS & SCG) also addressed the participants on various aspects of Securities markets. The programme was a blend of classroom teaching, hands-on-sessions field visits & Mumbai Darshan.

Valedictory Session

The valedictory session was held on December13, 2019 which was presided over by Dr. V. R. Narasimhan (Dean SRSS & SCG, NISM) and he handed over the Certificate of Participation & Mementos to all the participants. The programme concluded and Dr. Rajesh Kumar proposed a Vote of Thanks on behalf of NISM-SRSS. The Programme was well received by the participants.
