The National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM) is a public trust established in 2006 by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), the regulator of the securities markets in India. The institute carries out a wide range of capacity building activities at various levels aimed at enhancing the quality standards in securities markets.

National Institute of Securities Market (NISM) jointly with Institute of Company Secretaries of India, ICSI-CCGRT has organised a one day Workshop on “Proposed Clause 36 & Revised Clause 49 of Listing Agreement “ at Hotel Capital Bangalore, Mumbai on June 20, 2015.

Shri P.K Nagpal Executive Director, Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) inaugurated the programme.  The keynote address was delivered by Shri V.R Narsimhan , Chief of Regulatory Affairs, National Stock Exchange of India Ltd.


Post the inaugural ceremony; the day saw two panel discussion on Clause 36 and Clause 29 of Listing Agreement. The distinguished panellists included eminent speakers from various Regulator, Practitioner and Corporate speaking on the new amendments and provide clarity to Company secretaries who are employed or practicing.
