National Institute of Securities Market (NISM) jointly with Institute of Company Secretaries of India, ICSI-CCGRT has organised a one day Workshop on “Proposed Clause 36 & Revised Clause 49 of Listing Agreement “at Hotel Grand Hyatt, Mumbai on September 27, 2014.

Shri Prashant Saran, Whole Time Member, Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) and Shri Sandip Ghosh, Director NISM inaugurated the programme. The keynote address was delivered by Shri Prashant Saran wherein he had emphasised on the need of building trust among all stakeholders of listed companies.

The First Technical Session was a Panel Discussion on “Critical Evaluation of Clause 49”. The details of panelist and topics covered by them are as under:
