The National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM) is a public trust established in 2006 by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), the regulator of the securities markets in India. The institute carries out a wide range of capacity building activities at various levels aimed at enhancing the quality standards in securities markets.

National Institute of Securities Market (NISM) jointly with Institute of Company Secretaries of India, ICSI-CCGRT has organised a one day Workshop on “Proposed Clause 36 & Revised Clause 49 of Listing Agreement “at Hotel Grand Hyatt, Mumbai on September 27, 2014.

Shri Prashant Saran, Whole Time Member, Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) and Shri Sandip Ghosh, Director NISM inaugurated the programme.  The keynote address was delivered by Shri Prashant Saran wherein he had emphasised on the need of building trust among all stakeholders of  listed companies.
